Company ‘X’ (engaged in providing live coding courses to K-12) witnessed an increase in conversion rate and wanted to create a simple yet effective Sales management dashboard to create an enquiry, manage the sales funnel, manage conversions, track user journey, collect payment and much more.
While a lot of the above could be achieved via CRM tools, the same would be costly with a team of 50-60 folks (LeadSquared charges around 2.5k/user/month).
Apart from the cost, all converted leads would ultimately have to be entered into the Internal Management system to track further metrics & for other misc. processes like assigning a teacher, creating the class schedule, etc.
For the design process, we mostly relied on the wireframe instead of heavily relying on the design team.
I conducted interviews with the on-ground sales and ops team to understand the pain points and gather requirements & suggestions to make the module future-proof.
